Mechanic: how we help
Your Bertone needs mechanical repairs or maintenance? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How the request works
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
A rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Between shop visits
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
