Arranging the work for the M
Need mechanical repairs or maintenance for your 1982 BMW M? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.
Your M and the shop
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the M.
How the arrangement works
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Your rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We collect the rental when your car is back. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
What to ask
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Small things that help
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Questions first?
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
