The Buick and mechanical repairs or maintenance: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How the arrangement works
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Keep moving meanwhile
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Small things that help
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Questions to ask the shop
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
