Mechanic: how we help
Need mechanical repairs or maintenance for the CCC Engineering? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Regular maintenance keeps small problems from turning into large ones.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
Who does what
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Small things that help
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Before the shop starts
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Ask us
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
