A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Arranging the work for the Shadow
The Chrysler Shadow and mechanical repairs or maintenance: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Regular maintenance keeps small problems from turning into large ones.
Details the shop needs
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
How the arrangement works
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Keep moving meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Car care, briefly
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
Before the shop starts
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Still deciding?
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
