Mechanic: how we help
For mechanical repairs or maintenance on the Genesis, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
Our part and the shop's part
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Between shop visits
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
One more step
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
