The Geo: Mechanic
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For mechanical repairs or maintenance on the Geo, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
How the arrangement works
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
Your rental while you wait
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
What to ask
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Between shop visits
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
