The Lexus RX: Mechanic

Your Lexus RX needs mechanical repairs or maintenance? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

About your RX

Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.

What we arrange

You approve the shop's quote before any work. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Stay on the road

If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

What to ask

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Want a price?

Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.

Request mechanic

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
