Mechanic: how we help
Mechanic for the Lordstown: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Regular maintenance keeps small problems from turning into large ones.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
What to send us
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
A car meanwhile
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Car care, briefly
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Questions first?
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
