Mechanic: how we help
Need mechanical repairs or maintenance for your 2000 Mazda MX-5? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.
About your MX-5
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the MX-5.
How the request works
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
Stay on the road
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
