The McLaren: Mechanic
Need mechanical repairs or maintenance for your McLaren? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How the arrangement works
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.

The rental is priced like any other on our site. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
A short checklist
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Small things that help
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
