Before the shop sees your Cooper

Who does what

Small things that help
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Before the shop starts
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
