Mechanic: how we help
Need mechanical repairs or maintenance for the Mobility Ventures? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How we help
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Your rental while you wait
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
A short checklist
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Next step
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
