The Morgan: Mechanic
For mechanical repairs or maintenance on the Morgan, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.
Your car, your notes
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
Our part and the shop's part
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
A rental while you wait
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Car care, briefly
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Let us know
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
