Mechanic: how we help
For mechanical repairs or maintenance on your Rivian, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Regular maintenance keeps small problems from turning into large ones.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
What CarmaCars does here
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Your rental while you wait
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Car care, briefly
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
Before the shop starts
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
One more step
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
