Mechanic for the Shelby
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For mechanical repairs or maintenance on the Shelby, we connect you with a trusted shop. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
How the request works
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A rental while you wait
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
A short checklist
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Between shop visits
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
When you know your dates
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
