A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Mechanic for the smart
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for mechanical repairs or maintenance on the smart we arrange a trusted shop. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
What CarmaCars does here
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
Your rental while you wait
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Car care, briefly
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
One more step
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
