Mechanic: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For mechanical repairs or maintenance on the Subaru XT6, we connect you with a trusted shop. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
What CarmaCars does here
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
A car while yours is in the shop
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. We collect the rental when your car is back. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Small things that help
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Make a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
