Arranging the work for the RAV4

CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for mechanical repairs or maintenance on the 2018 Toyota RAV4 SE we arrange a trusted shop. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

Your car, your notes

Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the RAV4. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. It uses the 2.5L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive.

The steps

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.

Driving while yours is at the shop

The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

A short checklist

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

When you know your dates

Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.

Other trims, places, colours and searches

Request mechanic

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
