Mechanic: how we help
For mechanical repairs or maintenance on the Vector, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Regular maintenance keeps small problems from turning into large ones.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What CarmaCars does here
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A rental while you wait
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
What to ask
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Good habits for your car
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Make a request
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request mechanic
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
