Minivan rental: brown 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv in Java

Minivan rental and the 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv

For a van or a seven-seat car, the 2018 Audi A4 Progressiv could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The A4 and Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,933 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

Also close to Java: Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland.

Under the hood

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.6 L/100 km combined, it needs around 26 litres for a 300 km round trip. A 300 km weekend costs about $45.15 in energy at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

In our fleet

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What happens when you ask for a car

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Who can rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
