What the specs mean

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.87 at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

Renting it

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How renting with us works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Checking your details

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Questions first?
