Minivan rental: 2021 Audi Q7 Technik in Java

Minivan rental with this car

Minivan rental: the 2021 Audi Q7 Technik. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The Q7 and Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,072 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Tara Village, South Side and Howe.

The figures, translated

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Fuel use is rated 11.4 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 34 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $19.95, and a 300 km weekend about $59.85.

What to expect from the Q7

As a full-size SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who the Q7 suits

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Renting it

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Booking in plain terms

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What we need from you

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
