Minivan rental: BYD

Minivan rental and the BYD

Searching for minivan rental? Here is the BYD: what it is like and how to rent it. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

What the specs mean

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

A good match for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting one from us

Name the BYD model you want in your request, and the offer confirms what we can give you. We have no BYD on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

Booking in plain terms

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Rules for renters

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
