Minivan rental: the 2021 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate

This 2021 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate page is written for a van or a seven-seat car: the car first, then renting it from us. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Patsy and the Tucson

Patsy is about 1,196 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Patsy itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

The pages for Elaver, Cherry Valley and Midland cover the areas next door.

Under the hood

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder, driving through a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 9.5 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 29 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $14.73 to drive 100 km.

Practical details

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Renting this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

From request to keys

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Who can rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
