Minivan rental: silver 2021 Nissan Altima S in Java

Minivan rental with this car

If a van or a seven-seat car is the plan, the 2021 Nissan Altima S is worth a look; here is why. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The Altima and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the figures tell you

The powertrain to know here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 22 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.4 L/100 km. Expect about $11.47 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Best uses

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Can I rent it?

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Booking, step by step

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Checking your details

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
