The 2002 Buick Rendezvous: Oil change
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an oil change on the 2002 Buick Rendezvous, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Engine oil and its filter are changed on the schedule in your owner's manual, by distance or by time.
Your Rendezvous and the shop
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The powertrain here is the 3.4L 6-cylinder with front-wheel drive and a 4-speed automatic.
The steps
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Between shop visits
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Send a request
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request oil change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
