Oil change: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an oil change on the Grumman Olson, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Engine oil and its filter are changed on the schedule in your owner's manual, by distance or by time.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How we help
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Before the shop starts
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Talk to a person
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request oil change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
