The 2023 Kia Carnival SX: Oil change

Need an oil change for the 2023 Kia Carnival SX? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. The right oil grade for your engine is in the owner's manual.

Before the shop sees your Carnival

A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Carnival. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The engine is the 3.5L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic.

How the request works

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.

Good habits for your car

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Getting a clear quote

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
