Oil change: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an oil change on the Mobility Ventures, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. The right oil grade for your engine is in the owner's manual.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
What we arrange
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Your rental while you wait
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
A short checklist
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Between shop visits
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Talk to a person
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request oil change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
