The Renault: Oil change
Your Renault needs an oil change? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Engine oil and its filter are changed on the schedule in your owner's manual, by distance or by time.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
Who does what
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
A car meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Good habits for your car
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Before the shop starts
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Over to you
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request oil change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
