Your 1982 Chevrolet Blazer: the work
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1982 Chevrolet Blazer, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your Blazer, up close
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a van, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.
Getting a quote
Ask anything about the work in the request. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
After the work
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
How long it takes
Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover.
A few things first
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
Why prices differ
Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job.
Next step
A person reads your request and replies with a price and a time.
