The 2014 Chevrolet Trax: Paint correction
This page covers paint correction for the 2014 Chevrolet Trax, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your Trax
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.
The request
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected.
Need a car meanwhile?
Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Planning around the work
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule.
On the day
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
Aftercare
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
What goes into a quote
The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
