Your 1986 Dodge Mini Ram: the work
Searching for paint correction for the 1986 Dodge Mini Ram? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
The request
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
Stay on the road
Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Looking after it afterwards
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
What affects the price
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
How long it takes
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price.
A few things first
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Next step
Questions about the work? Ask them in your request.
