Your 1981 Ford CF6000: the work
This page covers paint correction for the 1981 Ford CF6000, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What your car means for the work
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
The request
Ask anything about the work in the request. A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off.
Keep driving meanwhile
A rental means the work does not stop your week. A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Before you drop the car off
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
Pricing, plainly
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation. We price the job before we start, never after.
Looking after it afterwards
Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
Timing
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
