Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Your E-550 and paint correction
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 2003 Ford E-550, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
The car itself
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
Getting a quote
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. You can add a rental to the same request. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Keep your week on track
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Before you drop the car off
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
After the work
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
When the car is ready
A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days.
What goes into a quote
Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. We price the job before we start, never after. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
