The work on your F-650
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 2007 Ford F-650, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your F-650, up close
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Your request
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
Stay on the road
Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
A few things first
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
What affects the price
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
Keeping it that way
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Timing
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
