Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Your C5 and paint correction
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1988 GMC C5, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your C5, up close
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Getting a quote
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. You can add a rental to the same request. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
What goes into a quote
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
After the work
Corrected paint stays glossy longer with gentle hand washing. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
How long it takes
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.
On the day
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
