The 1989 GMC DS: Paint correction
This page covers paint correction for the 1989 GMC DS, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your DS
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
Booking the work
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. You can add a rental to the same request.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
We collect the rental when your car is ready. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
How the price is set
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.
After the work
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
When the car is ready
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
What to bring
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
