Paint correction for the 1981 GMC Rally
This page covers paint correction for the 1981 GMC Rally, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What your car means for the work
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
What happens after you ask
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. You can add a rental to the same request.
Keep your week on track
Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What to bring
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
How long you are without it
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.
After the work
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
How the price is set
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly.
