Your 1988 GMC Value Van: the work
This page covers paint correction for the 1988 GMC Value Van, and a rental while the car is with us. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Getting a price
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
Driving while yours is in
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Keeping it that way
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
When the car is ready
We keep you posted if the timing changes. If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it.
Why prices differ
Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. We price the job before we start, never after.
On the day
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
Over to you
Book the work and a rental in one request.
