The 1986 GMC WHM: Paint correction
For paint correction on the 1986 GMC WHM, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
What to send us
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Stay on the road
Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
What to bring
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
Pricing, plainly
We price the job before we start, never after. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
Timing
A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
After the work
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
Ready to ask?
Tell us about the car and the work, and we take it from there.
