Booking the work for the Pickup
Searching for paint correction for the 1981 Isuzu Pickup? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
The car itself
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Getting a quote
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Ask anything about the work in the request.
A rental meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
What goes into a quote
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
On the day
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
Keeping it that way
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
How long you are without it
Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished. We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price.
