Paint correction: your Mark
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 1995 Lincoln Mark, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What your car means for the work
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces.
The request
You can add a rental to the same request. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
A rental meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
On the day
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
How long you are without it
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
Looking after it afterwards
Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
Why prices differ
We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
Your move
When you are ready, a short request books the work.
