The work on your Gravity
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 2027 Lucid Gravity, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your Gravity, up close
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. As a full-size SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.
The request
Ask anything about the work in the request. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Stay on the road
We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
On the day
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
Aftercare
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
How the price is set
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
Timing
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in.
Ready when you are
A short request is all it takes to get a price for your car.

Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
