Booking the work for the Trailduster
Here is how we handle paint correction for the Plymouth Trailduster: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
The car itself
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Getting a quote
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price.
Keep driving meanwhile
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
What to bring
Ask any question you have before the work starts. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned.
Planning around the work
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
What affects the price
If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
Looking after it afterwards
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
