Paint correction for the Porsche 718
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the Porsche 718, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Size and finish
Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
The request
Ask anything about the work in the request. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
A car while yours is in
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Looking after it afterwards
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
Pricing, plainly
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. We price the job before we start, never after. A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly.
When the car is ready
If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
What to bring
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
