Your 1500 and paint correction
CarmaCars takes requests for paint correction on the 2014 Ram 1500, and rents you a car while yours is in. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your 1500
A bigger body means more surface to work on, which shows in the time. As a pickup truck, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
From request to appointment
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
Driving while yours is in
Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
What to bring
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Keeping it that way
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
When the car is ready
We keep you posted if the timing changes. We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price.
Pricing, plainly
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
