The Subaru SVX: Paint correction
Searching for paint correction for the Subaru SVX? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
About your SVX
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
Booking the work
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
A rental meanwhile
Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Aftercare
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car.
Planning around the work
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
Pricing, plainly
We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
Before you drop the car off
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
