Your 1985 Volvo NR: the work
Searching for paint correction for the 1985 Volvo NR? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
Your NR, up close
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
Booking the work
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Keep driving meanwhile
A rental means the work does not stop your week. We collect the rental when your car is ready. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
After the work
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
When the car is ready
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
Pricing, plainly
If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. We price the job before we start, never after.
Before you drop the car off
Ask any question you have before the work starts. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
